Detoxify your home naturally with these 10 plants

Can these plants help detox your home?

Your home is where you spend the majority of your time and it also contains the most adverse chemicals to your body. Many of us are unaware of these chemicals and even worse, the experts have little to no scientific studies that show these chemicals are even safe to humans!

Every day we’re being exposed to toxic chemicals in our homes from the things we commonly use:

  • Toothpaste – fluoride
  • Showers & Baths – chlorine/fluoride
  • Room deodorizers
  • Paints – VOCs
  • Plastics – phthalates, furans, polyvinyl chloride
  • Carpets – off-gassing of formaldehyde
  • Styrofoam cups – styrene
  • Body deodorants – dichlorobenzene

*if your home was built before 1988 it was most likely treated with chlordane, which has been linked to seizures, learning disabilities & mood swings. Chlordane will persist for about 35 years or more.
