5 Tips to calm anxiety

If you’re reading this you probably are going through episodes of anxiety attacks. I’ve been there, so I know what your struggles are. If you haven’t gone through any anxiety attacks, pray you never will. It’s not fun. But there is a silver lining to this dark gray cloud. There are a few things you can do to calm the anxiety down, if not make it go away for good! Wouldn’t that be wonderful? First of all we need to address the fact of why anxiety happens in the first place…STRESS. If you need more information on stress, please go back and review the article and watch the periscope episode on that. So here’s the deal, when you’ve been stressed out for too long, your adrenals cannot respond properly to the stress response…and guess what? If you can’t respond properly to the stressor (with the right hormones like cortisol), then you’re body starts to freak out. So prolonged stress induces anxiety.

  1. Use lavender essential oils
  2. Focused meditation
  3. Light exercise
  4. Epsom salt baths
  5. Nutrition: B-vitamins, Rhodiola, L-Theanine
